Yes. Turn on Client Sign-Off and the tenant signs on your device before you hand over the keys. Smart Build includes wording that the report is a fair record of the property’s condition on the day.

A short statement you control. The standard wording confirms that you attended and that they gave access, and says that signing does not mean they agree with the findings. The words they sign under stay with the survey.

Just before your own sign-off, under a heading such as Tenant Sign-Off, with the wording, their signature, their name and role, and the date and time they signed. It works in General Inspections, Home Surveys and Commercial Surveys, on the report screen and in the PDF.

Mark it as not present or declined to sign, with an optional note. The report says so instead of showing a signature.

Yes. Client sign-off is free, and it is off until you turn it on in Settings. Teams using PropertySurvey Pro for Business can switch it on and set the wording for every device from the portal.

No. It records a handwritten signature on your device as part of the survey record. It is not identity verification, and you remain responsible for the wording you ask people to sign.
