Google Workspace

Use Google endpoint management to make the private Android app available to your team.

    Share the organisation ID

    Give ProSurvey Apps the Managed Google Play organisation ID for the environment where your staff devices are managed. We make the existing private app available to that organisation; you do not need to upload a new APK.

    Add and assign the app

    In the Google Admin console, use the Web and Mobile Apps area to add the private Android app. Control access for the relevant groups or organisational units and choose the installation behaviour supported by your management edition.

    Activate the installed app

    Use managed configuration if your edition and app settings expose it: activationCode is a String. Otherwise provide the QR setup pack or manual code to authorised staff. The Apple app needs a separate Apple distribution setup.

Confirm the Pilot Before Expanding

Confirm the app is visible in the intended managed Play environment and the surveyor can activate online. Google Workspace sign-in is not a ProSurvey surveyor login requirement.

For Managed Devices: Activation Configuration

In the portal, open your organisation → Activation Codes → QR & Setup Pack → MDM Configuration. Select your platform to download the relevant configuration. Keep actual codes and downloaded packs within your authorised team.

The configuration key is activationCode, with a String value. The value comes from your private setup pack; the example below is a placeholder.

Use the format required by your console: the portal offers iOS property-list/dictionary and Android JSON formats. Apply it to the private B2B edition, not the consumer app.
