An installation route for eligible iPhone and iPad teams that want the private PropertySurvey Pro B2B app without enrolling their devices in a management service.
Your business still needs a verified Apple Business account and an agreed B2B licence. We confirm that Apple offers redemption codes for your app and organisation before planning this rollout.

2. ProSurvey Activation Code
Obtained from your B2B Account. Enter it or scan the setup QR inside the B2B app to activate that installation against your company’s allowance. A team activation pack can be reused within its limits.
These codes are not interchangeable. Our setup QR activates an installed app; it does not download the app from Apple.
Choose the Right Route for Your Team
Redemption can suit a small team using individually assigned phones. Managed distribution is usually a better fit when your organisation needs to control installation, updates and device reassignment.

See Apple’s distribution comparison. Redemption codes are available through Apple Business, not Apple School Manager. Managed Apple Accounts have store purchasing restrictions; they are not a substitute for the personal account used for redemption.
Recipients must be in the organisation’s country or region; this route is unavailable in South Korea. Discuss a multi-country team with us before ordering codes.

Prepare Your Apple Business Account
Register and verify your organisation with Apple if needed. Give the administrator suitable Apps and Books permissions and complete Apple’s purchasing setup, including its required payment details.

Ask Us to Make the Private App Available
In Settings → Organisation, enable Custom Apps and find your Organisation ID under Details. Send us that ID and the app you need. Apple’s organisation settings guide. Once we confirm availability, find the private B2B edition in Apple’s Custom Apps catalogue. Your Apple Organisation ID differs from the organisation reference in our portal.

Obtain Apple Codes
In Apple Business, open Apps & Services → Apps and Books → App Store → View Store. Select the Custom App, choose Redemption Codes as its licence type, review the quantity and price, then complete the order. Retrieve the codes from purchase history. Older Apple Business Manager layouts use Apps and Books in the sidebar.

Prepare B2B Activation
In our portal, open your organisation → Activation Codes → QR & Setup Pack. Check that the activation period, available seats and agreement access cover the rollout. Apple download quantities do not increase your ProSurvey device allowance.

Pilot, Then Share Individually
Test one recipient’s installation and activation. Confirm their Installation Reference in Devices. Then privately send each person their own Apple code or supplied redemption link, the team activation pack and the instructions below. Keep a simple record of who received each Apple code; don’t send everyone the whole batch.
Any Apple download charge is separate from your agreed ProSurvey licence and invoices. We confirm the commercial arrangement before rollout.

Download with Your Apple Code
Connect to the internet. Open the redemption link your administrator supplied, or open App Store → your profile → Redeem Gift Card or Code → Enter Code Manually. Use the Apple download code and follow the download prompts. Check the intended Apple Account before redeeming. Apple’s redemption controls.

Activate Inside the B2B App
Open the private PropertySurvey Pro edition. In setup, use B2B License to scan your company’s activation QR, choose its saved image or enter the separate ProSurvey code. Tap Activate. For an existing installation, open Settings → B2B License.

Finish Setup and Start Surveying
Complete your company and surveyor details. You do not need a portal login. If your administrator asks, share the Installation Reference shown under B2B License so they can identify and name your device.
Example: A Team of Six
Your manager provides six intended recipients with separate Apple codes and one reusable ProSurvey team activation pack. Six activated installations occupy six available seats. Downloading the app again on another device does not create another ProSurvey seat.
Updates, Device Changes & Leavers
Updates and Replacement Phones
Use the App Store’s update and purchase-history options with the account that redeemed the app. Export needed survey data before replacing or removing an installation. Ask your administrator to handle its existing registration and available seats; survey files do not move through the licensing portal.
When Someone Leaves
The Apple app ownership cannot be reclaimed after redemption. Your administrator can still retire or suspend the ProSurvey installation and control future activation. They should also review access to shared activation packs.
Our licensing controls still apply: checks are normally due every three days while active and connected, with up to fourteen days offline after a successful check, subject to an earlier expiry. Suspension reaches an offline device on check-in or licence expiry. Saved surveys remain viewable when access becomes read-only.
If Something Does Not Work
The private app or redemption option is missing
Ask your administrator to confirm Apple organisation verification, Custom Apps access, the correct organisation ID and app availability. If the code option is absent, contact us before changing Apple pricing or choosing a different app.
Apple says the code was already redeemed or is for another region
Check the assigned recipient and the Apple Account used. Contact your administrator with the error text. Keep the original code private; do not redeem colleagues’ codes to experiment.
The app downloaded but will not activate
Use the ProSurvey activation code inside B2B License. Your administrator should check the agreement, available seats, activation-code dates and any existing device restriction. An Apple download does not confirm B2B access.
I already have the app through TestFlight
TestFlight is a separate testing route. Ask support to plan the production installation and preserve any test survey data before replacing it. These Apple codes are obtained for the approved Custom App listing.
Can our Android team use these codes?
No. Android teams use our private Managed Google Play distribution route, followed by ProSurvey activation.
