B2B Deployment
Managed Google Play
Deliver the private Android app through your organisation’s enterprise mobility management service.
- 1
Make the app available
We restrict the private package to your organisation ID. Locate that package through your management service’s Managed Google Play catalogue and sync it into the app inventory.
- 2
Assign the app
Use your management console to offer the app in the managed Play store or install it on assigned devices. Start with a small pilot group so distribution and configuration can be checked together.
- 3
Deliver activation
Where your console supports managed configuration, set activationCode to the string from your private setup pack. Otherwise use the QR code or manual activation after the app is installed.
Confirm the Pilot Before Expanding
Install from the managed work profile, open the app online and check the installation reference in the portal. If the app is missing, verify the organisation ID and catalogue sync first.
For Managed Devices: Activation Configuration
In the portal, open your organisation → Activation Codes → QR & Setup Pack → MDM Configuration. Select your platform to download the relevant configuration. Keep actual codes and downloaded packs within your authorised team.
The configuration key is activationCode, with a String value. The value comes from your private setup pack; the example below is a placeholder.
{
"activationCode": "YOUR-ACTIVATION-CODE"
}Use the format required by your console: the portal offers iOS property-list/dictionary and Android JSON formats. Apply it to the private B2B edition, not the consumer app.
Open B2B AccountVendor Documentation
Console labels and available features depend on your platform and subscription. Check the current vendor instructions alongside this guide.
Deployment guidance reviewed 8 September 2026. Managed configuration does not imply support for every vendor’s separate app-protection SDK or policy.
