Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM

Deploy the B2B edition and activation settings through your organisation’s app assignments.

    Import the store app

    Sync the private app from the relevant store connection into Workspace ONE UEM. Use the B2B identifier shown in the portal setup pack, then create an assignment for your pilot Smart Group.

    Set application configuration

    Workspace ONE supports application configuration for iOS and Android. Add activationCode as a String in the app assignment’s configuration settings, using the value from your private setup pack.

    Publish and verify delivery

    Publish the app assignment and its configuration to the same group. Check installation and command status in UEM. Open the app on a connected pilot device before expanding the rollout.

Confirm the Pilot Before Expanding

A successful UEM command is separate from a successful licence check. Confirm the app’s access status and match its installation reference in the licensing portal.

For Managed Devices: Activation Configuration

In the portal, open your organisation → Activation Codes → QR & Setup Pack → MDM Configuration. Select your platform to download the relevant configuration. Keep actual codes and downloaded packs within your authorised team.

The configuration key is activationCode, with a String value. The value comes from your private setup pack; the example below is a placeholder.

Use the format required by your console: the portal offers iOS property-list/dictionary and Android JSON formats. Apply it to the private B2B edition, not the consumer app.
